Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support the finance and accounting department at a leading company in the automotive industry. In this role, you will assist with consolidation reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and work with the consolidation team to ensure accurate financial data management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks related to consolidated accounting, including journal entry creation, data compilation, analysis, and management using a consolidated accounting system.

• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in Excel and assist in creating related disclosure documents.

• Respond to inquiries via email from both domestic and overseas affiliates, including English-language correspondence.

• Support the team by creating internal documents in Word or PowerPoint (as needed).

• Use SAP systems for financial information related to standalone financial statements, including data compilation and analysis.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of institutional accounting experience (preferably with consolidated accounting and/or standalone accounting experience).

• Ability to adapt quickly to tasks requiring urgency and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Word (document and table creation), Excel (pivot tables and data analysis), and PowerPoint (basic modifications).

• Experience with consolidated accounting systems is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Overtime: Estimated maximum of 20 hours during closing periods.
