About the Role

• A leading global healthcare company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Japan finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for supporting healthcare innovation through financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in compliance with US GAAP and JGAAP
• Oversee tax filings and liaise with external tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global finance counterparts
• Support audits and regulatory reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and JGAAP
• Experience in tax accounting and reporting
• Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
• Big 4 audit firm experience is a strong plus
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
