Job Requirements:

MATRIX is looking for an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join the team. This position is for remote camps across Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures health and safety by following company policies & processes and acting in a responsible manner at all times, while on the job.
• Performs all pre and post trip inspections to ensure effective operation of truck and equipment.
• Loading, unloading, and fasten materials safety and securely.
• Performs roadside repairs as needed.
• Complete all required safety paperwork.
• General laborer duties as required.

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years truck driving experience
• Previous remote location experience, preferred
• Must be willing to travel for work
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs., Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.
• Able to maintain a high level of performance over a 12 hour shift.

Preferred Licensing & Certifications:

• Minimum Class 1 License
• Must have a clean five (5) year commercial drivers abstract
• Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, TDG, Fall Protection)

Salary Range

$500/day depending on skills and experience.
