Position: Cleaner

Locations of Work: 14 MacDonald Road, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Y1A 4L2.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Vacancies: 1

Terms of Employment : Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week

Preferred Experience & Certifications (Assets):

• 6 months cleaning experience.
• Cleaning best practices for varying circumstances, understanding of cleaning products and their toxicity.
• WHIMS certificate.
• A valid driver's license (at least 3 years of experience driving) with a clean driving record.

Job duties and responsibilities include :

• Clean vehicles and equipment.
• Clean crewing accommodation.
• Ensure common areas in crewing accommodations are clean including bathrooms, shower rooms, laundry rooms, living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, storage rooms.
• Pick up trash and empty trash bins daily.
• Report any damage or excessive messes in rooms.
• Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas, including bathrooms, conference rooms and floors in mechanic shops and drill shop.
• Making beds, washing linens and changing linens if required.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Education : No requirement

Skills: communication, attention to detail, adaptable and flexible to focus as tasks change, ability to complete physically demanding tasks, work independently.
