Rheaume Engineering Inc. (Rheaume) is seeking a part-time Instrumentation Specialist to join our team, based in either our Grande Prairie or Calgary office.

Role Description
  • Design oil & gas facility instrumentation and controls systems
  • Create and review engineering drawings, including:
  • Instrumentation datasheets
  • Instrument indexes
  • Control narratives
  • Shutdown keys
  • I/O list, panel drawings, schematics
  • Instrument BOMs
  • Measurement schematics
  • 3D models, plot plans, and P&IDs
  • Prepare work packages for field operations and fabrication/construction services
  • Prepare datasheets, specifications, and RFPs for equipment to be purchased
  • Review vendor drawings and documentation
  • Collaborate with and support project managers and other engineers
  • Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and HAZOPs with the client and engineering team

Candidate Requirements
  • Must be currently residing in Alberta, Canada
  • Must have Western Canada EPC conventional oil & gas instrumentation engineering experience
  • P. Eng. or P.L.(Eng.) preferred
