Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Coordinator based in Ottawa, ON. Reporting to the Cladding & Sheet Metal Senior Superintendent, the Field Coordinator will coordinate the daily activities of various cladding and sheet metal project sites, communicate goals to the teams, monitor and track progress, update schedules, assess roadblocks and efficiencies on site, ensure safety compliance and maintain communication between on-site teams and office staff.

Responsibilities also include site material inventories, coordinating supply deliveries, checking quality standards, and troubleshooting any on-site issues.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent in the field of architecture, construction engineering or other related fields; or a combination of a high school diploma and relevant field experience
• Additional certifications in project management, building sciences or related fields are beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have experience working in a Microsoft Office work environment.
• Experience with the following IT tools with be considered an asset; Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Procore, Corfix, BIM360, Fieldwire, PanelBuilder, VCarve, etc.
• Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and field coordination
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance measures.
• Experience in quality control and troubleshooting on-site issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Previous experience in the construction and building envelope industry is a plus
• Valid driver's license is mandatory. Required to have your own vehicle to be able to visit multiple sites. (compensation for millage)
• Must be eligible for a Secret level Security clearance.
