Forklift/Loader Operator US-PA-Easton Job ID: 2025-2740 Type: Regular Full-Time Category: Contracting Easton Block & Supply Overview Easton Block & Supply of the H&K Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Yard Laborer with forklift experience! The Yard Laborer preforms the yard activities of loading, unloading, storing, transferring, distributing, and inventorying stone products and materials in the yard of the industrial plant. Competitive salary commensurate with experience 100% Company-paid Health Benefits 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs Additional training opportunities including on the job, online through the H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policies Stages and organizes materials in the yard Keeps and updates inventory of materials and final products Inspects incoming materials and verifies invoices Inspects machines and equipment used during the workday Maintains time and production records Cross trained in all areas of production including stacking, saw operations, guillotine operations and forklift operations Cross trained to assist with administrative duties when necessary Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered Experience operating a forklift Verbal and written communication skills Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Problem solving Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience 3 months of related experience Experience with other types of heavy equipment Experience working in heavy manufacturing, civil construction, road construction, or quarries MSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certifications Physical Demands Regularly required to: Sit Use hands to finger, handle, or feel Reach with hands and arms Frequently required to: Talk or hear Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds Vision requirements include: Distance Peripheral Depth perception Work Environment Regularly exposed to: Outside weather conditions Vibration Frequently exposed to: Moving mechanical parts Fumes or airborne particles Noise level is usually loud Easton Block and Supply (EB&S) has been a proud member of H&K Group, Inc.’s (H&K’s) Building Materials segment since 1989.
