• be qualified and hold a teaching credential in the subject(s) they are applying for
• have had a minimum of three or more years of full-time teaching experience within a recognized English-medium educational system, preferably in a multi-cultural setting
• be able to effectively utilize technology within the classroom
• be able to cope with students of mixed abilities some for whom English is not a first language

Job Description

We have a part-time opening for a qualified, experienced teacher of French at the Middle School level. An international mindset, solid IT skills, and being a native speaker of French are required. The Middle School curriculum starts with a general introduction to French. This gives students the opportunity for a solid linguistic foundation for further French studies in High School when students are part of the IGCSE French as a Foreign Language course in Grades 9-10 and then go on in Grade 11 - 12, to study IB French B at both Higher and Standard levels.

Applicants should:

• submit clear copies of your degrees, teaching credentials and background check certificate
• submit reference letters if you already have in your file from educators holding administrative positions
• provide with the application the name and email contact of at least four people who can testify to their teaching ability, classroom management skills, character, and application suitability as we would like to send our own evaluation form. At least two of the four people should be past employers, one the present employer and one from a current principal or direct manager/supervisor.
