Summit Search Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established fluid hauling transportation company, for an experienced General Manager.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to oversee operations, drive business growth, and ensure safety and operational excellence across the organization.

This Position can be based out of either their Calgary or Lloydminster office.

The Opportunity:

The General Manager will provide overall leadership and direction for fluid hauling operations , managing day to day activities while shaping long term strategy. This includes oversight of owner operators, 3rd party logistics, fleet maintenance, budgeting, and team development. The successful candidate will be a proven operational leader with deep industry expertise, strong safety focus, and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all daily operations, including scheduling and dispatch.
• Manage contracts and relationships with owner operators.
• Direct fleet maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets; implement effective cost control measures.
• Create and execute strategies to improve efficiency, safety, and overall growth.
• Provide detailed reporting on operational and financial performance to senior stakeholders.

What You Bring:

• 15+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or oilfield services .
• 5+ years of experience in a senior management or executive leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of fluid hauling operations .
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
• Expertise in safety, compliance, and financial management.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of driving operational success.
