Industrial Security Support Researcher (ISSR)
Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS)

Position Description:ThinkTek is seeking an Industrial Security Support Researcher (ISSR) with an active Top Secret clearance to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) at the Regional Headquarters in DFW area. This position supports DCSA's risk-based industrial security oversight mission by conducting pre-Security Review research and analysis relevant to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Research sources will include commercial and government databases, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Publicly Available Information (PAI).
Key Responsibilities:Research & Analysis
Conduct research and analysis of potential risks to cleared defense contractors (CDC) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Identify and report potential vulnerabilities associated with the CDC.
Identify and report possible OPSEC or other security issues associated with the CDC.
Identify and report potential violations of 32 CFR NISPOM Part 117 requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
Produce professional, accurate, and timely written work products.
Meet established deadlines while ensuring quality and compliance with guidelines.
Collaboration & Execution
Work effectively in a collaborative on-site environment at DCSA or independently through customer-approved telework.
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to support mission objectives.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in security-related data systems such as the National Industrial Security System (NISS) and the Defense Information System for Security - Joint Verification System (DISS-JVS), or equivalent intelligence/counterintelligence tools.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Knowledge of OPSEC and OSINT principles.
Familiarity with CUI guidance and directives.
Ability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret raw data from multiple sources.
Clearance
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance verifiable through DISS-JVS prior to start date.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience with security-related data systems (NISS, DISS-JVS) or in intelligence/counterintelligence.
Minimum 3 years of program management support experience.
Prior experience supporting DCSA or similar federal security programs.
Understanding of federal industrial security oversight processes.
