Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Asset Manager to join our clients team in Calgary, AB. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to work with a global aviation organization delivering integrated aircraft services. You will be instrumental in managing the technical and financial performance of leased aircraft and supporting maintenance activities throughout the asset lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing maintenance projects at both internal and third-party MRO facilities
  • Approving work scopes for component overhauls and exchanges
  • Collaborating with records audit teams to support return-to-service and lease delivery documentation
  • Providing technical expertise for lease returns, deliveries, aircraft purchases, and repossessions
  • Estimating costs associated with lease transitions
  • Acting as the primary technical liaison for customer lease discussions
  • Reviewing and approving maintenance reserve claims
  • Conducting on-site technical audits at lessee locations
  • Supporting sales, marketing, and operations during aircraft transitions
  • Coordinating with regulatory authorities as required
  • Advising on all technical aspects related to aircraft leasing, acquisitions, and divestitures

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Licensed AME M2 or AME-E
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft acquisition, import/export processes, and major repairs/alterations
  • In-depth understanding of aircraft recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience working under pressure in dynamic, multi-cultural environments
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems like CAMP and Traxxall
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior or lead aviation maintenance role, with experience in technical asset management strongly preferred
