Alphanumeric is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to work in Montreal, QC, with one of the biggest pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in the world.
The manufacturing operator is responsible for manufacturing various dosage forms and performing the various stages of the processes, such as weighing, granulation, mixing, compression, encapsulation, coating, and inspection of solid, semi-solid, or liquid dosage forms or liquid dosage forms according to their professional specialty, while complying with various criteria in different areas:

Candidates must be fluent in both French and English, because this role reports to stakeholders, managers and clients outside of Quebec, where the environment requires communication in English, despite the daily work being in French.

Conditions:

• Salary: 28.14 CAD/hour + applicable shift differential (1.50 CAD/hour for evening shifts and 2.50 CAD/hour for night shifts).
• Employment: Contractor.
• Duration: 1 year with potential for renewal or becoming FTE.
• Working Hours: Rotational shifts including weekends.
  • Day shift: 7am-3pm.
  • Evening shift: 3pm-11pm.
  • Night shift: 11pm-7am.
  • Weekend night shift: Friday 11pm to Saturday 11am, Saturday 11pm to 11am Sunday.
• Work Location: 1025 Boulevard Marcel Laurin, Saint-Laurent, Quebec.
• Mandatory to be based in Canada with valid documentation (PR or valid Work Permit + valid SIN).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of GMP (an asset).
• 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related field (an asset).
• Mechanical aptitude and computer skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning (different types of cleaning) of certain parts, rooms (floors, walls, sinks, etc.), containers, and work areas.
• Disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of production equipment according to procedures and GMPs, following established standard work methods where applicable.
• Planning of cleaning to optimize production schedules and the use of cleaning rooms.
• Checking the condition of parts and/or equipment for cleanliness and overall condition, starting up certain production equipment, and Clearing rooms or sections.
• Assessing the quality of equipment and products, evaluating the quality of equipment and products.
• Adequate documentation (manufacturing sheets, registers, cleaning labels, standard work charts, etc.) in accordance with GMP rules and verification of documentation, and printing and/or inspecting tablets or capsules in accordance with standards.
• Performing preventive maintenance (TPM), polishing of punches.
• Waste management (trash cans and/or pharmaceutical waste), storage of parts.
• Verifying raw materials, performing sanitation tasks, and performing certain reconciliations.
• Maintaining an adequate inventory of certain products and/or equipment and/or supplies.

L'opérateur de fabrication est chargé de fabriquer diverses formes posologiques et d'effectuer les différentes étapes du processus, telles que le pesage, la granulation, le mélange, la compression, l'encapsulation, l'enrobage et l'inspection de formes posologiques solides, semi-solides ou liquides, ou de formes posologiques liquides, selon sa spécialité professionnelle, tout en respectant divers critères dans différents domaines. Veuillez noter que nous ne pouvons embaucher que des personnes déjà basées au Canada et disposant de documents légaux et valides pour travailler au Canada. Veuillez postuler avec votre CV en anglais, car certains responsables ne parlent pas français. Les candidats doivent parler couramment le français et l'anglais, car ce poste implique de rendre compte à des parties prenantes, des responsables et des clients situés en dehors du Québec, où l'environnement exige de communiquer en anglais, même si le travail quotidien se fait en français.

Conditions :

• Salaire : 28,14 CAD/heure + prime de quart applicable (1,50 CAD/heure pour les quarts du soir et 2,50 CAD/heure pour les quarts de nuit).
• Emploi : Contractuel.
• Durée : 1 an avec possibilité de renouvellement ou de passage à temps plein.
• Heures de travail : Quarts rotatifs, y compris les week-ends.
  • Quart de jour : 7 h à 15 h.
  • Quart de travail du soir : 15 h à 23 h.
  • Quart de travail de nuit : 23 h à 7 h.
  • Quart de travail de nuit le week-end : vendredi 23 h à samedi 11 h, samedi 23 h à dimanche 11 h.
• Lieu de travail : 1025, boulevard Marcel Laurin, Saint-Laurent, Québec.
• Il est obligatoire d'être basé au Canada et de posséder des documents valides (permis de séjour permanent ou permis de travail valide + numéro d'assurance sociale valide).

Exigences :

• Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent.
• Connaissance des BPF (un atout).
• Deux ans d'expérience dans le domaine pharmaceutique ou dans un domaine connexe (un atout).
• Aptitudes mécaniques et compétences informatiques.
