Title : Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear Industry
Location: Remote or Hybrid in Naperville, IL / Atlanta, GA
Hire Type : Direct Hire (2 openings)
Salary : $100K – $120K

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a client to find experienced Mechanical Engineers. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in the energy sector while working in a flexible remote or hybrid schedule.
Job Duties:
Provide expert advice on design processes and construction methods.
Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems for quality and efficiency.
Approve work schedules and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with customers in detailed technical discussions.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
Must have working knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance Standards.
Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear power plant design.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
Schedule:
Remote (excluding West Coast).
Naperville, IL: 2 days per week in office.
Atlanta, GA: 1 day per week in office.
Occasional travel to client locations as needed.
