Job Title: Painter

Reports to: Shannon Duvall, General Manager

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter who values integrity, respect, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

1. Painting and Surface Preparation

2. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.

3. Apply paints, stains, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques for a flawless result.
4. Ensure clean, crisp lines and consistent coverage to meet quality standards.

5. Protect surrounding surfaces, furniture, and fixtures by applying necessary coverings and ensuring thorough cleanup.

6. Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction

7. Perform work with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all painting and finishing meet client expectations.

8. Participate in final walkthroughs with the Job Lead to identify and resolve any touch-ups or issues.

9. Treat each project with grace and respect, demonstrating care for the client's property and space.

10. Safety and Compliance

11. Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines, using appropriate protective gear and equipment.

12. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

13. Report safety concerns or incidents promptly.

16. Communicate clearly and respectfully, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.

18. Place yard signs and distribute door hangers in designated areas to promote company services.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting preferred.
• Strong understanding of various paint types, finishes, and application techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating integrity and reliability.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials.

Experience & Education required:

• 2-5 years of professional painting experience, demonstrating a portfolio of completed projects
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
