What do we do?

Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational content to international students in middle/high school and college. Using online tools, we provide short online courses, academic counseling, one-on-one teaching, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students’ academic success.

Sinica Education is looking for part time instructors to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for instructors in the following subject areas for our high school and college academic program. The ideal candidate would be able to teach 2+subjects up to AP level and some lower level college courses:

• Literature
• World History
• US History
• Art History
• European History
• Political Science
• Government
• Religion***
• French/Spanish
• Music Theory
• Finance
• Accounting
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Psychology
• Statistics
• Computer Science
• And other high school level subjects

• Principles of Microeconomics
• Principles of Macroeconomics
• Introduction to Economics
• Intermediate Micro and Macro economics
• Econometrics
• Game Theory

We are currently looking to fill both full time (on site in West Los Angeles) and part time (remote) positions. Make sure you are applying to the correct job posting.

What are the required qualifications?

• **MUST hold BA or graduate degree from a top 50 university.
• A real passion for education and desire to work with international students of different backgrounds, ages, and ability levels
• ** Chinese Speaking - Native fluency ** -- Please also note that we are looking for instructors who are able to work with students on English literature/analysis, not just the language itself *****

What are other desirable qualifications?

• Classroom teaching experience at the high school or university level
• Experience with high school curriculum development
• Experience with online learning platforms
