Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Take ownership of and execute IT Operations and Infrastructure projects, managing all stages from planning to completion. Responsibilities include handling timelines, coordinating resources, and mitigating risks.
• Vendor Coordination: Oversee transitions between IT vendors, including onboarding, overlapping phases, transferring knowledge, and optimizing performance ramp-up.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Serve as the communication link across teams such as ServiceDesk (L1), SysAdmin (L2), Security, and Architecture, fostering alignment among teams in Japan, the US, and the UK.
• Unblocker Mindset: Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles for team members and stakeholders by facilitating communication, navigating processes, or aligning resources.
• Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvements in service delivery and operational effectiveness, such as enhancing documentation, automating processes, and streamlining support workflows.
• Tooling Projects: Organize the implementation and integration of internal tools (e.g., Aquera, Entra ID updates, SCIM provisioning, ServiceNow improvements).
• Stakeholder Communication: Take initiative in engaging with stakeholders by scheduling meetings, providing consistent updates, aligning expectations, and maintaining clear communication during change initiatives.
• Reporting: Monitor project progress, including milestones, budgets, and KPIs; support audits and ensure compliance as needed. Create and maintain dashboards to keep milestones current and visible.
• Time Zone Flexibility: Be willing to adjust schedules, including early mornings, to facilitate collaboration with leadership and project stakeholders based in the US.
