Overview Job Title: Project Manager / Scrum Master (Contract – Temporary) Location: On-site | Bronx, NY Position Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master for a contract, temporary assignment based on-site in the Bronx, NY. The Scrum Master is a key enabler of Agile delivery and team performance, responsible for guiding Agile teams toward greater efficiency, transparency, and alignment. Acting as a servant leader, mentor, and facilitator, this role empowers teams to self-organize, make data-informed decisions, and continuously improve while ensuring delivery of high-quality results. Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, etc.) to support team collaboration and delivery. Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and well-groomed backlog aligned with business goals. Proactively identify and remove impediments to enable smooth team progress. Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, values, and best practices. Foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. Track and report delivery metrics to provide visibility and transparency to stakeholders. Ensure alignment of team output with organizational objectives while maintaining high quality and timely delivery. Support both individual growth and team development through mentorship and servant leadership. Qualifications Previous experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a similar Agile delivery role. Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and project management methodologies. Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to coach, influence, and foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to remove obstacles effectively. Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Rally, Azure DevOps). Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM). #J-18808-Ljbffr ZipRecruiter
