Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Program Manager for a 12-month contract (multi-year initiative) with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Remote (Ottawa or Toronto preferred)

Key Tasks

• Lead the end-to-end program management of the New Service Centres expansion initiative.
• Oversee the execution of the roadmap for opening 20 new sites, including annual planning, resourcing, and reporting.
• Manage dependencies such as design standards, facility relocations, and related initiatives to ensure alignment with program goals.
• Coordinate across multiple areas of the business (e.g., facilities, collections, supply chain) to enable integrated delivery.
• Establish and maintain program governance, including steering committee and working group engagement.
• Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely issue resolution to maintain delivery schedules.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to leadership, steering committees, and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with broader project delivery frameworks and organizational strategy.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site, multi-year programs with complex dependencies.
• Strong skills in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management, including working with steering committees and governance structures.
• Demonstrated ability to drive execution of strategic roadmaps, with expertise in planning, risk management, reporting, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program or portfolio management, ideally leading large, multi-site or multi-year initiatives.
• Strong skills in program governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple business functions.
• Experience in network expansion, facilities growth, healthcare, or comparable environments is an asset (not mandatory).
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
