We are looking for a dedicated Research Assistant to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will provide analytical support to help improve decision-making and resource allocation processes, utilizing a range of modeling and statistical techniques. This is a long-term contract position where you will contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of systems that support operational and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantitative analyses to evaluate operational activities and identify areas for improvement.

• Utilize statistical methods, modeling techniques, and economic principles to develop actionable solutions.

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and validation of decision-support systems.

• Document processes, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects align with organizational objectives.

• Present research findings and data-driven insights to stakeholders in a meticulous and thorough manner.

• Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and systems for optimized performance.

• Provide training and guidance on system applications and tools as needed.

• Maintain compliance with regulations, including HIPAA, while conducting research and analysis.

• Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication and project coordination.

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in cost analysis.
• Familiarity with documentation practices and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with supervisors and peers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to supervise or guide others.
• Knowledge of research methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively.
