Baie Transport is looking for school bus drivers to transport students in the Outaouais region, in Gatineau, starting at the beginning of the school year at the end of August.

Complete your training this summer so you’ll be ready for the start of the 2025-2026 school year!

Be part of the school journey of dozens of young people every day! In the morning and afternoon, you will be responsible for inspecting your vehicle, driving safely, maintaining discipline on board, and making several stops to pick up and drop off children from your bus. Rain or shine, we are counting on you to get them to their destination safely.

SCHOOL BUS DRIVER!

• $2,400 attendance bonus with the Fidelibus program
• Part-time and occasional positions available for substitutes
• Salary offered at $26.50/hour
• Stable schedule based on the school calendar (spring break, holiday break, etc.)

• Training if you don’t have your Class 2 license

Nothing beats your new routine

• Drive the vehicle to transport children to school or home
• Ensure the safety of children when they board and exit the bus and when they cross the street at the bus stop
• Maintain discipline on board the vehicle
• Keep mandatory reports up to date (RDS report, daily log, etc.)
• Perform vehicle safety checks;
• Keep the vehicle clean;
• Refuel the vehicle at the end of the day.

Requirements

• No criminal record related to the job;
• Good driving record;
• Good knowledge of the area;
• The minimum age to hold a school bus driver’s license in Quebec is 21;
• Two years of driving experience;
• Spoken and written language: French;
• Class 1 license (an asset);
• Class 2 license (an asset);
• Class 4B license (an asset);
• Class 5 license (mandatory)
• Valid Canadian work permit (mandatory)
