Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and day-to-day accounting oversight. This role will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all accounting operations while contributing to process improvements and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of monthly corporate reporting and statutory financial statements
• Oversee and guide daily accounting operations performed by external service providers
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and payroll journals
• Perform corporate tax calculations, prepare journals, and coordinate with external tax accountants for filings
• Support internal audits by analyzing general ledger accounts and providing documentation
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks
• Safeguard confidential financial and business information
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and ad-hoc financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and major ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
