Client Profile

Leading global co. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its Japan operations, working closely with its Shared Service Center (SSC) in China.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Collaborate with SSC in China to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and JGAAP
• Assist with tax filing and compliance in Japan
• Support internal and external audits

Qualifications

• Fluent in Japanese and English; Chinese proficiency is a plus
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and Japanese tax regulations
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Detail-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills
