About the Opportunity?
Business Partnering & Performance Insights:
Serve as a strategic partner to operational leaders, providing financial insights that drive business performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable business strategies.
Develop and present financial reports and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Support financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business optimization.
Utilize financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Support & Reporting:
Leverage data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to enhance reporting capabilities and deliver real-time insights.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor financial health and operational efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support business intelligence initiatives.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow reporting to ensure effective liquidity management.
Assist in the calculation of?Work-In-Progress (WIP)?to support accurate revenue and cost recognition.
Analyze working capital metrics and develop strategies for optimization.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare?monthly Market Share Reports?with a focus on data accuracy and trend analysis.
Support the preparation of?monthly Bank Reporting, ensuring compliance with lender requirements.
Assist in?monthly financial reporting, including P&L analysis, balance sheet review, and variance explanations.
Contribute to?quarterly Board Reporting, ensuring concise financial insights for executive review.
Process Improvement & Strategic Support:
Identify opportunities to enhance financial models, tools, and reporting processes.
Support automation initiatives to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Collaborate with leadership to develop insights that support operational and strategic objectives.
About You?
Bachelor’s degree?in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
CPA, CFA, or MBA?designation (or in progress) is preferred.
5+ years of experience?in FP&A, operational finance, or related roles.
Experience in construction, service trades, or the fire protection industry?is an asset.
Strong proficiency in?financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
Advanced skills in?Microsoft Excel; experience with?ERP systems and BI tools?(e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Excellent?analytical, problem-solving, and organizational?skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong?communication and business partnering?skills to influence decision-making.
Ability to work independently,?manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Salary Range?
$100,000 - $110,000/year?
