Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack to join our high performing team . We are a remote-first, venture-backed startup at the heart of the FinTech movement and we’re reshaping financial services and banking for small businesses across America. We are backed by some of the best VCs in the world and are solving important problems.

Senior Software Engineer you’ll work with our world-class Engineering team. Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, E-Trade, McKinsey, Etsy, eBay and more.
Requirements The skills required for this role - - You have 5+ years of experience building web products, with experience in multiple modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Typescript, Go
- You are comfortable contributing across multiple areas of the development stack, although you may have a preference or specialty in frontend or backend
- You have experience working directly with cloud infrastructure and services, such as Google Cloud and/or AWS (today we use Lambdas, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Snowflake, but we’re continuously evolving)
- You have a strong understanding of API protocols and best practices, and have maintained APIs at scale
- You have experience being a senior member of a team, designing new patterns, breaking down complex requirements, and leading others to accomplish a goal
- You get excited working with complex and secure architectures (distributed, stateless)
- You enjoy experimentation, including working with urgency, using data to make decisions, and iterating to continuously improve
- You are a strong communicator and collaborator who knows how to connect the dots between departments and stakeholders
- You have experience working on an Agile scrum team with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc)
- You love mentoring junior developers into world class senior devs
Bonus points - - You have experience working with an event driven architecture
- You have built and maintained GraphQL APIs
- You have experience building mobile applications
- You have built products at scale in a SaaS, Payments, or FinTech industry
- You come from a family of small business owners.
