Cargo County Group is a leader in temperature-controlled trucking and logistics across Canada and the United States. We take pride in our reliable service and modern fleet, ensuring the seamless movement of goods for food producers, distributors, and retailers. We are expanding in Bolton and are looking for an energetic Dispatcher to join our operations team.

Position Overview

The Dispatcher will play a key role in coordinating drivers, schedules, and shipments to keep our fleet running smoothly. No prior dispatching experience is required — we provide full training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and communication skills who is looking to build a career in logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers for local and long-haul routes.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide route details, updates, and instructions.
  • Track trucks and shipments using dispatch software and GPS systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service by updating clients on load status.
  • Record trip details and maintain accurate logs.
  • Assist with problem-solving in real time (e.g., traffic delays, equipment issues).
  • Work closely with operations and safety teams to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications
  • In office position at our Bolton office only, no remote positions.
  • No prior dispatching experience required — training will be provided.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (mandatory requirement).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office or similar).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
