Job Description

• Shall play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the way users interact with our  financial technology products, which include web and mobile software, as well as embedded UIs on payment hardware
• Lead a team of UX designers and researchers, working closely with cross-functional partners, including product management, engineering, business, marketing, and finance
• Focus will be on creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall customer journey and meet business objectives

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX design and research process end-to-end
• Collaborate with stakeholders to influence strategic decisions and establish a design vision that aligns with business goals
• Conduct user research to gain insights into customer behavior, ensuring designs are based on user needs
• Develop low- and high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and prototypes that communicate design concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the UX team
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with business goals
• Understands the intersection of research, design, technical development, and business strategy
• Is passionate about seeing projects through from inception to launch and beyond
• Thrives in a collaborative, agile environment and enjoys working with cross-functional teams
• Is flexible, open to feedback, and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for users and the organization
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience in user experience design and user-based research methods, with a proven track record of impactful design work

Preferred:

• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Experience in the Financial Technology, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services industry
