Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking several Assemblers to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assemblers

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: Monday to Friday- 6:00am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-11:00pm
1st & 2nd Shifts

What's the Job?

• Perform assembly of computer boards using small hand tools and adding components into designated slots.
• Utilize basic computer skills for inventory control, including scanning parts and entering information into IBM-specific software.
• Assist other departments by running and retrieving parts as needed to maintain assembly flow.
• Engage in warehouse duties such as boxing and light shipping tasks.
• Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.

What's Needed?

• 1-2 yrs of prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods as required by the job.
• Capability to handle repetitive tasks with focus and diligence.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
