Cornerstone Dermatology + Surgery Group, PC is a privately owned dermatology practice located in Lee's Summit, MO. We provide compassionate, expert medical and surgical dermatology care in a comfortable office setting. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist providers with direct patient care, including preparing and rooming patients, taking medical histories, and measuring vital signs.
Scribe and document office visits accurately in the electronic health record.
Prepare for and assist during dermatology procedures and minor surgeries as needed.
Set up, clean, and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
Facilitate patient flow and follow-up, including managing referrals and communicating next steps to patients.
Support administrative functions, such as appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, and billing assistance.
Foster a welcoming and efficient environment and act as a collaborative, reliable teammate.
Respond to patient questions and needs with professionalism and empathy.
Bachelor's degree (or completion expected before start date) preferred; ideal for pre-med, pre-PA, or health sciences graduates.
Commitment to a 1–2 year full-time schedule.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
Interest in pursuing a future healthcare profession.
Experience in a healthcare or service setting is a plus but not required.
Extensive hands-on clinical experience.
Direct exposure to dermatology and surgical procedures.
