  • Proactively identify and resolve permitting risks, ensuring the project maintains compliance with regulatory obligations across all phases (development, operation, closure).
  • Strengthen relationships with regulators, Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders, resulting in productive partnerships and positive reputation outcomes for the project.
  • Integrate environmental management plans and auditing practices that reduce non-compliance findings and demonstrate continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Key Deliverables:
  • Submit and achieve approval for all priority Mines Act (MA), Water Sustainability Act (WSA), Environmental Management Act (EMA) applications and amendments required for early construction activities.
  • Establish a clear and auditable process for tracking, reporting, and fulfilling regulatory commitments and permit conditions.

  • Track record of meeting deadlines and budgets on major permitting initiatives.
  • Strong technical writing, data analysis, and project management skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with regulators, Indigenous groups, and other external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge in water treatment and aquatic disciplines, as well as environmental assessment legislation, is considered a strong asset.
