Sales Points


The Business Analyst is responsible for end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements elicitation, functional design, stakeholder collaboration, system configuration, testing support, deployment coordination, and light project management. This role is critical in translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements to deliver IT solutions. The focus will be primarily in Japan, with additional responsibilities across the APAC region.



The Role


1. Elicitation & Collaboration

• Lead requirement-gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders
• Prepare, conduct, and validate elicitation activities
• Communicate business analysis findings effectively
• Foster collaboration across stakeholders and IT teams
• Build strong relationships to support change adoption

2. Requirements Life Cycle Management

• Trace, maintain, and prioritize requirements
• Assess change impacts and drive requirement approvals
• Draft processes and system documentation
• Support system configuration updates

3. Strategy Analysis

• Analyze current vs. future state processes
• Identify business risks and process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with Organizational Change Management (OCM) on change strategy
• Develop training and end-user documentation where needed

4. Requirements Analysis & Design Definition

• Specify, model, verify, and validate requirements
• Define solution design options and recommend preferred approach
• Create system documentation including use cases and UML diagrams
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure technical feasibility
• Seek simplification opportunities and continuous improvement

5. Solution Evaluation

• Monitor solution effectiveness during and after implementation
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
• Assess user feedback and propose improvements
• Support defect resolution and alignment to business goals

6. Project Support & Leadership

• Lead smaller-scale IT projects or initiatives
• Facilitate project testing, training, and deployment activities
• Prepare and deliver presentations on solutions and system changes
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development
