Responsibilities

The Visual Arts Department is an exciting environment in which the study and practices of art history, theory, and studio combine in a unique and dynamic way. The department is currently recruiting male and female Life Drawing Models for life drawing and painting classes. Work is performed under the supervision of the course instructor or teaching assistant during class hours. Models are expected to follow directions for specific drawing assignments and to hold poses from two seconds to as long as 30 minutes. The incumbents will work variable hours based on the class schedule.


Qualifications


Education:

• Secondary School Diploma

Experience:

• Prior related work experience
• Preferred: prior experience modeling for life drawing classes

Skills, Abilities & Expertise:

• Ability to remain relaxed and poised in front of students and instructor
• Ability to pose naturally for long periods of time without movement
• Reliable and dependable with the ability to consistently work an assigned schedule
• Ability to follow processes and practices with high attention to detail
• Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues and students
