Hackley School is looking to hire a full-time Evening Maintenance Technician that will work 3pm-11pm Monday to Friday. Reporting directly to the Director of Buildings and Grounds, this position performs various skilled and semi-skilled tasks to maintain a 24/7 campus facilities operation. Primary responsibilities for members of the Buildings & Grounds team include maintaining the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment for Hackley School as well as projects related to preserving and improving the appearance of the facilities and grounds, both on campus and at various properties owned by the School. It is expected that members of the Buildings & Grounds team work collaboratively with colleagues and outside contractors, use safe work practices, perform quality work, and clean up their work areas. The Evening Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with two other evening Buildings & Grounds technicians, our Evening Security Guard, and the evening custodial team.
Candidates must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and pass a motor vehicle record check. Candidates are also required to be fingerprinted and pass a state background check.
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/hr
