Your role, your impact

As a Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in the transformation of a legacy .NET on-prem solution to a modern cloud-based solution in Python, bringing your expertise to ensure the successful migration and optimization of our applications. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting solutions, helping our clients make informed decisions and manage their operations more effectively.

Your day-to-day

• Develop effective and clean code based on requirements;

• Perform unit testing and integration testing;

• Optimize current ETL code;

• Assist the support team in debugging production issues;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration;

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback;

• Document development processes and code changes.

Keys to your success

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field;

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development;

• Proficiency in Python, SQL Server, and Java;

• Experience with Scala and Hadoop;

• Strong knowledge of core Python functionalities and the Python pandas library;

• Familiarity with Git and understanding of test-driven development (TDD).

Extra edge

• Experience with cloud migration projects;

• Knowledge of financial systems and credit risk exposure.
