Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

This role is focused on infrastructure delivery tied to new facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the real estate team and local site teams to plan and execute projects such as:

• Setting up server rooms and comms rooms
• Building small data centers in new or renovated office spaces

With a pipeline of 4–5 facility projects scheduled over the next year, this role offers both stability and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution
• Manage risk, issues, and change throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Provide clear reporting and updates to stakeholders
• Build strong relationships across real estate, facilities, and IT teams
• Contribute to process improvements within the PMO

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects (not IT services/support)
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Resilience and adaptability in navigating complex environments
• PMP certification (preferred)
• Background in infrastructure project management within facilities

Location: Candidates in the GTA are preferred, but remote applicants across Canada will be considered, as projects are geographically distributed.
